Police in Dewsbury have issued an appeal for information following a violent disturbance in the area.

The incident, which took place at approximately 1:30 am yesterday (Friday), saw reports of an altercation unfolding in North Park Street involving both individuals and vehicles.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two males who had sustained injuries as a result of the altercation. Both individuals were subsequently transported to hospital for medical attention, with their injuries reported as non-life-threatening.

Kirklees District CID has taken charge of the investigation into the incident and is urging any witnesses or individuals possessing footage relevant to the case to come forward and assist with their enquiries.
