Letters should be kept to three hundred and fifty words or fewer and can be on local, national or international matters, or in response to another letter.
Writers must include their full name, address, email and telephone numbers for verification purposes.  Anonymous letters and letters written under pseudonyms will not be considered. 
Writers should disclose any personal or financial matters on the subject.
We look for concise letters that offer a new perspective or add depth to the discussion of the issue.
Letters may be edited for clarity and after fact-checking, but will only do so in consultation with the writer.
