On Monday, 28th August 2023, personnel from Bradford South Response Team 1 undertook a vehicle stop and search operation within the vicinity of Great Horton in Bradford.

During the course of this operation, officers discovered an imitation firearm that had been skillfully altered to closely resemble a genuine weapon.

In addition to this, they also uncovered a Stun Gun, a Lock Knife, a Baton, and a quantity of Cannabis.

Moreover, the driver of the vehicle did not pass a drug test administered at the roadside.

Subsequently, the driver was taken into custody under the suspicion of various offences, including the Possession of an Imitation Firearm with the Intent to Elicit Fear of Violence, Possession of a Weapon Intended for the Deployment of an Electrical Incapacitation Device, Possession of a Bladed Article, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, and Possession of Cannabis.

The individual is presently awaiting an interview as part of the ongoing investigation.
