The Broadway’s highly anticipated event, ‘Summer Movie Madness,’ is set to commence on Wednesday, 26 July, and continue until Thursday, 31 August. Offering six weeks of interactive character visits and captivating performances, this event promises to be a delightful experience for the entire family throughout the holidays. The festivities will kick off with a special appearance by the iconic Barbie.
Every Wednesday and Thursday, from 11 am to 4 pm, The Broadway will play host to beloved characters from popular movie blockbusters. Fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet their favourite heroes, take selfies, and engage with fellow shoppers in an enthralling environment.

- Wednesday, 02 August: Chase
- Thursday, 03 August: Captain America and Iron Man

Expressing his excitement, Ian Ward, the general manager of The Broadway, stated, “I’m thrilled to announce an exciting summer full of activity at the Centre. The Broadway will be inviting more than 20 characters to the Centre throughout the school holidays to entertain shoppers and give people the chance to meet their favourite movie characters!”
The characters will be available for meet and greets every week from 11 am to 4 pm, stationed outside of M&S and Superdry. Fans are encouraged to arrive early as a queueing system will be in place to ensure everyone has the opportunity to snap a selfie and catch the performances.
The Broadway boasts over 80 retail stores, more than 20 eateries, and a state-of-the-art, six-screen boutique cinema, providing visitors with a wide range of options for entertainment and leisure.
