Police in Huddersfield have launched an appeal for information following a burglary over the weekend.

The incident transpired between 12 noon and 8:45 pm on Saturday, 16th March, at a property on Bankfield Park Avenue.

According to authorities, the perpetrators gained access to the residence by smashing a bathroom window.

Among the items stolen was a cylindrical jewellery box containing various valuables, notably:

  • A gold charm bracelet, with one of the charms being a small gold square with a glass front.
  • Costume jewellery including brooches and earrings.
  • A Ten Shilling note.

A black Karrimor backpack with red trim and a distinct Manchester bee keyring attached to it was also reported missing from the property.

The police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident or who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the vicinity to come forward.
