A 45-year-old man hailing from Huddersfield has been handed a prison sentence exceeding eight years following his conviction for robbery.

Michael Fagge, residing at Redwing Crescent in Milnsbridge, found himself sentenced to a cumulative 97 months at Leeds Crown Court yesterday (Wednesday) concerning an incident unfolding in the Lockwood vicinity back in January of this year.

Fagge absconded with the victim’s bank card and mobile phone subsequent to demanding money while menacingly brandishing threats of stabbing.

The perpetrator’s identification came about subsequent to a thorough investigation undertaken by Kirklees District Crime Team, leading to Fagge ultimately pleading guilty to the charge.
