A student officer from West Yorkshire Police is facing allegations of misconduct in a public office, as PC Caitlin Howarth, aged 24, assigned to Bradford District, is set to appear before York Magistrates Court on 7th March.

The charge stems from a connection with an individual having known criminal affiliations. PC Howarth, who is presently suspended from duty, is implicated in a relationship that has raised concerns about her professional conduct.

The upcoming court appearance will shed light on the details of the case, as the legal proceedings unfold in March.
