Authorities are requesting information in connection with a severe injury incident in Kirklees.

The incident occurred around 8:26 pm yesterday (Tuesday) as a black Toyota Yaris, travelling towards Holmfirth along Greenfield Road, collided with the edge of the Ford Inn pub. Subsequently, the vehicle struck a nearby wall and tree.

The driver, a 17-year-old male who was the sole occupant of the car, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. The injuries are described as life-threatening.
