Renowned pop icon Rick Astley is poised to share the stage with Sharleen Spiteri, Rylan, and The House Gospel Choir in ushering in the year 2024 at BBC One’s New Year’s Eve Rocks.

The cherished frontwoman of Texas, beloved TV personality, and Radio 2 presenter, along with the captivating choir, will join Rick at the iconic Roundhouse. There, he will perform a selection of his greatest hits alongside some of his preferred songs, ranging from contemporary smash hits to timeless classics.

Produced by BBC Studios Entertainment, this year-end celebration promises to be the ideal conclusion to 2023.

Rick, celebrated for his 1980s chart-topper “Never Gonna Give You Up,” gained further acclaim after a triumphant performance on the prestigious Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. There, he covered Harry Styles’ “As It Was” and AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell” before captivating audiences at Radio 2 In The Park in Leicester.

Rick Astley will be setting the stage ablaze on New Year’s Eve starting at 11.30 pm on Sunday, 31st December, airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The festivities will continue after the fireworks at 12.10 am.
