Police in Bradford searching for missing 19-year-old Lewis Priestley have released CCTV footage capturing his last known movements. Ongoing extensive enquiries, including specialised searches, are being conducted across Bradford, with officers expressing particular concern for Lewis’s well-being.
Lewis was reported missing from his residence in Allerton around 11.30 pm on Wednesday, 6 December. CCTV investigations have traced him to McDonald’s in Thornbury at 9.30 am on the same day. Subsequently, he took a taxi and was dropped off at a post office on Bradford Road in Frizinghall just before 10 am. Afterward, he was observed walking in the direction of Shipley.
Described as a 19-year-old white male with brown hair, sporting stubble around his face, Lewis was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket.
Detective Chief Inspector Allan Raw of West Yorkshire Police, said:
“We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Lewis. It is unusual for him to not be in contact with his family for this length of time.
“A number of lines of enquiries are being carried out to find him, and we are now in a position to issue a CCTV clip of his last known movements, as seen on Wednesday in Frizinghall.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Lewis or knows where he is to get in touch. His family are extremely worried and they need to know he’s okay.”
