Mog’s Christmas stands as a unique animated adaptation of the cherished children’s classic penned by Judith Kerr, and it is brought to life by HarperCollins Children’s Books. Crafted by Lupus Films, the production is set to grace Channel 4’s screens this festive season.

In the bustling household of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas, along with their children, Debbie and Nicky, the Christmas preparations are in full swing. With two aunts and a merry uncle adding to the holiday atmosphere, Mog, the adored family cat, feels a tad neglected. The arrival of Mr. Thomas and the children with a colossal Christmas tree unsettles Mog, prompting her to seek refuge on the roof. Despite the family’s earnest attempts to rescue her, Mog remains steadfast in her refusal to descend. Despite the anxieties, Mog experiences a magical snowy night with a Christmas dream filled with feline wonders. The question remains – will Mog return home in time for the much-anticipated Christmas Day?

The stellar voice cast includes Adjoa Andoh, Claire Foy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Miriam Margolyes, Maggie Steed, Zawe Ashton, Charlie Higson, Gareth Berliner, Judith Kerr’s daughter Tacy Kneale, and newcomers Amelie Law and Teddy Skelton. David Arnold composes the theme song, “As Long as I Belong,” with lyrics penned by Don Black and the enchanting rendition by Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
