Police in Batley are seeking witnesses after an elderly man sustained serious injuries in a collision. The incident occurred around 2:30 pm on Tuesday, 19th December, when the man collided with a silver Ford Fiesta that was reversing out of a parking bay at the Aldi supermarket on Branch Road.

The man, aged in his eighties, was transported to the hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries. Fortunately, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The driver involved cooperated with authorities at the scene and has provided a statement to the officers.
