A gleaming first-look image has been unveiled for the highly anticipated second season of The Agency: Unfiltered, ahead of its debut on BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer on 8th January 2024.

With an extended lineup comprising ten episodes, the upcoming series is poised to be more expansive, audacious, and even more binge-worthy than its predecessor. Produced by IWC, a Banijay UK company, the new series continues to offer viewers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the captivating and tumultuous realm of social media influencers at Aquarius Creative, Scotland’s largest influencer agency.

The initial season of The Agency: Unfiltered garnered immense success, particularly among younger audiences, generating considerable buzz on various social media platforms.

In this latest series, Aquarius co-founders Amy and Kirsten find themselves once again under the spotlight. Their responsibilities range from orchestrating international influencer excursions and hosting in-person events to negotiating brand agreements and supporting their expanding team of influencers, making their lives busier than ever.

However, their challenges extend beyond the professional sphere. Amy grapples with an ongoing health issue, while Kirsten navigates the delicate balance of being a first-time mother and a business leader.

For the influencers, it’s a relentless race to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of social media and the imperative to remain relevant.

Viewers can anticipate the return of familiar faces from the inaugural series, each confronting their own personal and professional tribulations.

The Agency: Unfiltered series two, comprising 10 episodes of 30 minutes each, is an IWC production for BBC Scotland and BBC iPlayer. Laura Capaldi and Mark Downie serve as executive producers for IWC, and the series was commissioned by Steve Allen, commissioning executive for BBC Scotland. Series 1 is currently available on BBC iPlayer.

The second season of The Agency: Unfiltered will premiere at 10 pm on Monday, 8th January 2024, on BBC Scotland, with all episodes accessible on BBC iPlayer.
