A police officer from West Yorkshire Police has faced charges for off-duty sexual offences.

PC Charlie Valente, a 23-year-old student officer stationed at Learning and Organisational Development, has been accused of three counts of sexual touching.

The alleged offences occurred between 4 and 5 November 2022, in Leeds, involving two female victims.

PC Valente made his first appearance at Leeds Magistrates Court on 1 November and is scheduled to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday, 29 November.

The officer is currently suspended from duty.
