Four new members have recently joined the board of Unity Homes and Enterprise, a BME housing association that oversees the management of nearly 1,400 affordable properties for approximately 5,000 tenants in Leeds and Kirklees.
Mahara Haque, a seasoned community development specialist with over a decade of experience, brings a wealth of board experience, including roles with housing associations and the NHS.
Moreen Pascal, with a career spanning business support services, local government, and the voluntary and community sectors, has primarily worked in London and Hertfordshire. Her focus has been on social justice initiatives within the community, leadership performance, and workforce development.
Nasim Qureshi, who has served as the chief executive officer at Inspired Neighbourhoods Group for 14 years, contributes extensive experience in the housing, health, social care, and enterprise sectors.
Abdul Ravat, previously associated with Unity Enterprise as a board member, brings three decades of experience in housing and regeneration.
