Mohammed Hussain, Amina Shann, and John Jagger have recently become members of the board at Unity Enterprise.
Mohammed Hussain is the founder and Managing Director of Pink Elephant Sales and Lettings Ltd. He also holds positions at the board level with the Federation of Small Businesses, the Institute of Directors, the Northern Asian Power Think Tank Group, and Shipley College.
Amina Shann serves as the Wholesale Account Manager for Bulk Purchase and export at Morrisons Head Office. She brings over eight years of experience with the Bradford-based supermarket chain, including two years as a BAME Adviser in addition to her regular responsibilities.
John Jagger boasts decades of experience in both private and public sectors, both in the UK and abroad. He possesses specific expertise in finance, strategic development, and business growth, and has successfully overseen the revitalization of various small and medium-sized enterprises.
Established in 2000, Unity Enterprise is the not-for-profit subsidiary of the BME housing association, Unity Homes and Enterprise. It offers more than 140 affordable units for over 80 diverse businesses across three locations near Leeds city centre.
These locations include the Leeds Media Centre, which recently underwent a £1.8 million refurbishment project in partnership with Leeds City Council and the European Regional Development Fund.
