The much-discussed new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! kicks off this Sunday night with an entrance show like no other. Ten celebrities are ditching their creature comforts for camp critters, tackling life in the Australian bush.

This year’s celebrities are Actress & Singer Jamie Lynn Spears, TV personality and Radio DJ Sam Thompson, This Morning host Josie Gibson, TV presenter Fred Sirieix, YouTuber Nella Rose, GB News host and ex politician Nigel Farage, Food Critic Grace Dent, Pop star and TV presenter Marvin Humes, EastEnders star Danielle Harold and Hollyoaks Icon Nick Pickard.

In an I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! first, three unsuspecting celebrities are being dropped into the very heart of the sizzling Australian outback for a brand new set of challenges.

Far from the jungle, and stranded in the scorching heat, campmates Josie, Nella and Nigel meet for the very first time.

But this isn’t a time for chit chat. The trio soon learn that they are desperately needed by their fellow celebrities who are 2000 miles away back on the Gold Coast.

Their mission is to win time for their fellow campmates who are taking part in other challenges. The more time they have, the better for all of the campmates.

But when they’re faced with searching through gallons of sticky gunk and scary hell holes in a bid to score tokens for time, will they be able to score enough time for their fellow celebs?

Meanwhile, on the Gold Coast Sam, Danielle, Fred and Grace arrive by helicopter, meeting on the very top of an imposing skyscraper, quickly spotting the challenge that awaits them.

Hosts Ant and Dec greet them to explain that two at a time they will have to descend a ladder down the side of the eye-wateringly high building.

Here they’ll have to delicately inch their way sideways along the towering building, before carefully sliding down to a huge horizontal flag pole. There’s no choice but to look down at the terrifying drop beneath them, as they must lie down onto the pole and crawl along. Here, they have to race against the clock to unclip carabiners along the pole to release their star-print flag.

Exactly how long they have to complete the challenge is all down to their fellow celebrities in the outback.

So have they got enough time? And have they got the nerve to take it on?

For the remaining campmates Jamie Lynn, Nick and Marvin, the iconic skydive awaits them.

Arriving together in a clearing, it soon becomes clear they’ve got a dramatic entry into camp life, as they will have to each take turns to jump out of a plane.

And it’s very bad news for Marvin, who has already professed his fear of heights.

Plus, after dropping into the jungle there’s no rest time for these campmates as they find out they’re heading straight into action with a Trial, too.
