Detectives are seeking information following a violent assault that resulted in severe leg injuries for a man in the Bramley area of Leeds.
At 6 pm last night (Sunday, 12 November), police responded to a call on Swinnow Lane, reporting that paramedics were attending to a man with multiple stab wounds. The injured man was subsequently transported to the hospital, where it was determined that his injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
Preliminary investigations indicate that a group of suspects exited a vehicle and assaulted the victim. A 26-year-old man has been apprehended in the early hours of this morning and is presently in custody.
Detective Inspector Dan Bates, from Leeds District CID, stated, “A man has sustained serious injuries in this assault, and we are committed to ensuring that those responsible face justice.
“I would encourage anyone who witnessed any part of this incident or possesses information about the individuals involved to come forward.”
