Calderdale police, who are currently investigating an assault, are seeking witnesses to come forward.
On Sunday, 13th August, at 12:41 pm, the police received a report concerning an assault that occurred on Market Street in Halifax.
According to the report, a man activated the security alarm while attempting to exit the Boots store. A security personnel from the shopping centre attempted to detain the man, who resisted arrest.
In the course of the altercation, the security staff member was forcibly pushed to the ground, resulting in her sustaining an injury to her arm. Subsequently, she sought medical attention at the hospital.
A 41-year-old man was apprehended in August in connection to the incident and was released under investigation.
