Police in Calderdale are currently investigating an alleged altercation that occurred in Todmorden last night.
At 11.45 pm, law enforcement responded to reports of two males on Poplar Avenue who were said to be in possession of weapons, with one individual reportedly carrying a crossbow.
Local district officers, backed by specialised armed units, promptly arrived at the scene and successfully located and apprehended both males in connection with the incident.
Although damage to a property was discovered, fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Ongoing inquiries are being conducted by Calderdale CID.
