Bradford East Neighbourhood Police Team, along with Bradford’s Precision team, conducted two warrants under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 on Mortimer Avenue, Bradford Moor.

These warrants were executed on 5th October.

Two individuals, aged 20 and 23, were apprehended for their involvement in the distribution of Class A substances.

Substances and currency were confiscated from the premises.

The 20-year-old male was released pending further investigation.

Yousaf Aziz, 23, residing on Mortimer Avenue, was charged with Possession with Intent to Supply Class A Drugs (Heroin and Crack Cocaine) and possession of a Class B substance (Cannabis).

He appeared before Bradford Magistrates Court on Friday, 6th October, and was remanded in custody.

Inspector Paul Riley of Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team said; “This action was a result of community intelligence regarding local drug dealing and anti-social behaviour which has been a concern to residents in the area.

“Drugs have no place in our communities, and we will do everything we can to make the area safer for everyone.
