The police in Leeds are seeking information regarding a fatal road traffic collision in which two individuals lost their lives, and one person sustained critical injuries.

On the morning of 29/09, at 3.28am, authorities received a call about the incident on the A6120 Ring Road, at the intersection with Parkside Road in Meanwood.

A white Audi A3 veered off the westbound carriageway and struck a telegraph pole.

An 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old female were declared deceased at the scene.

Another passenger, an 18-year-old male, was transported to the hospital and remains in critical condition.

A 22-year-old male has been apprehended on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

There is currently a closure of the scene and the road, with investigators from the Major Collision Enquiry Team handling the case.

Authorities are urging anyone who was driving in the vicinity or resides along the route to review their dashcam or home CCTV for any pertinent footage that could aid in the inquiry.
