Wakefield Council want to inform people about some temporary closures of car parks in the district due to resurfacing work.
Cllr Matthew Morley, Wakefield Council’s Cabinet Member for Planning and Highways, said: “It’s important that we maintain our car parks to a good standard and have identified some resurfacing works that need to be carried out.
“I apologise for any inconvenience these closures will cause but please be assured we will get the car parks back open as soon as possible. Please visit our website for alternative parking options.”
The temporary closures are scheduled as follows:
Barnsley Road car park, South Elmsall – From 00:01 on Monday, 30th October 2023, to 23:59 on Thursday, 2nd November 2023.
High Street car park, Horbury – From 00:01 on Thursday, 26th October 2023, to 23:59 on Sunday, 29th October 2023.
Broadheads Yard car park, Ossett – From 00:01 on Friday, 27th October 2023, to 23:59 on Tuesday, 31st October 2023.
