Investigators probing the homicides of two men in Halifax have formally accused a man.

Nineteen-year-old Rashane Douglas, residing at Jade Place, Huddersfield, faces charges of two counts of murder, attempted murder, and possession of an offensive weapon.

He made an appearance at Bradford Magistrates’ Court earlier today and is scheduled to appear at Bradford Crown Court tomorrow (5th October).

Meanwhile, an 18-year-old man, apprehended on suspicion of aiding an offender, continues to be held in police custody.

The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team is actively pursuing leads in the investigations of Joshua Clark and Haidar Shah’s tragic deaths.
