BBC Three and Moonage Pictures, known for productions like “The Pursuit of Love,” “Obsession,” and “Curfew,” have unveiled the latest additions to the cast of “A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder”: Anna Maxwell Martin (from “Motherland” and “A Spy Among Friends”), Gary Beadle (known for “Rye Lane” and “Small Axe”), and Mathew Baynton (familiar from “Ghosts” and “The Wrong Mans”). They join the previously announced Emma Myers and Zain Iqbal. Filming wrapped up last month for the adaptation of Holly Jackson’s highly successful mystery novels.

Anna Maxwell Martin says: “I so enjoyed being part of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder with a really lovely cast, crew and creatives. Can’t wait for all the people who love Holly’s book to see it brought to their screens.”

Holly Jackson says: “I am beyond thrilled to finally introduce Anna and Gary as Pip’s parents, Leanne and Victor, and Mathew Baynton as Elliot Ward. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d have such an incredible cast and yet – at the same time – it always had to be them, because they are perfect for these characters.”

Today, they also announced additional cast members: India Lillie Davies as Andie Bell, Rahul Pattni as Sal Singh, Henry Ashton as Max Hastings, Mitu Panicucci as Stella Chapman, Orla Hill as Ruby Foxcroft, Ephraim O.P. Sampson as Jake Lawrence, Carla Woodcock as Becca, Yasmin Al-Khudhairi as Naomi Ward, Jessica Webber as Nat Da Silva, Matthew Khan as Dylan, Georgia Aaron as Emma Hutton, Oliver Wickham as Jesse Walker, Adam Astill as Toby Hastings, and Annabel Mullion as Rosie Hastings.

“I am also so excited to welcome Henry Ashton into the A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder family as Max Hastings,’ continues Jackson. “Henry’s was the first audition I ever saw in the casting process, and it blew me away. In fact, they all did. It truly felt like watching the books come to life. We had so much fun making this TV show and I cannot wait to see it all come together – and to your TV screens!”

In addition to Emma Myers and Zain Iqbal, previously announced cast members include rising stars Asha Banks (known for “The Magic Flute”) as Cara, Yali Topol Margalith (from “The Tattoist of Auschwitz”) as Lauren, Jude Collie (notable for “Here We Go”) as Connor, and Raiko Gohara (from “Get Lost”) as Zach.

The story revolves around the murder of schoolgirl Andie Bell by her boyfriend Sal Singh five years ago. The case seems closed, with everyone convinced of Sal’s guilt. But Pip Fitz-Amobi, sharp and determined, isn’t so sure and is hell-bent on proving it. If Sal isn’t the murderer and the real killer is still at large, how far will they go to stop Pip from uncovering the truth?
