SkillsHouse, the employability and skills service of Bradford Council, is delighted to announce the inaugural Careers Unlocked jobs fair, a specialised event focused on public and professional sector employment, to be held at the iconic Bradford City Hall.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, 12th October, from 2 pm to 7 pm, and is inclusive to all job seekers, university students, and young individuals, regardless of age or experience. Attendees will have the invaluable opportunity to interact with representatives from a diverse array of public and professional sector employers, including the NHS, local government, education, and the police. The event will showcase a multitude of career prospects in the public and professional sectors, including:

Health and Social Care for Adults and Children
Public Services & Law
A dedicated section for the SkillsHouse Jobshop will also be available, featuring live job listings on notice boards and Employment Advisers ready to provide personalised assistance. Throughout the day, workshops will be held covering topics such as Careers in Care and Navigating Civil Service Applications.
In addition to networking with potential employers, attendees will have the chance to participate in workshops dedicated to CV writing and interview techniques. A designated area will also be set up for attendees seeking guidance on their job search from SkillsHouse personnel.
