ITV Studios has announced that Nathalie Garcia, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, will be taking on the role of Managing Director of ITV Studios Iberia, effective from 1st November. This new venture will exclusively house ITV Studios’ formats in Spain, including The Voice (La Voz), The Voice Kids (La Voz Kids), and The Chase (El Cazador).

Nathalie is making the transition from Fremantle Spain, where she served as CEO for a commendable nine-year period. During her tenure, she oversaw the production of various entertainment formats such as Got Talent España and The Masked Singer, as well as game shows like Password, and the reality show The Farm, among others. Notable original intellectual properties like Game of Talents (Adivina Qué Hago Esta Noche), which successfully aired on FOX in the US, and Love Never Lies, a reality show for Netflix, were also conceived and produced under her guidance. In addition, she spearheaded the expansion of the business by establishing new divisions for fiction and documentaries.

Nathalie will be at the helm of the label, with its headquarters based in Madrid, and she will report to Lisa Perrin, Managing Director of International Production, who is based in London.

Lisa Perrin said, “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Nathalie to ITV Studios. Her vast experience and know-how in the region is second to none. Our brands like The Voice and The Chase have enjoyed long-running success in Iberia, we’ve just been waiting for the right person at the right time to expand our business in this vibrant market and Nathalie is exactly what we have been looking for.”

Nathalie Garcia, Managing Director, ITV Studios Iberia, added “I’m thrilled to join such a leading and inspiring player in our industry. I’m honoured that Lisa Perrin and the ITV Studios international production team are placing their trust in me to expand their already very successful business in Spain and Portugal. I’m very excited to embrace this new challenge, and look forward to continuing to produce extraordinary programmes that connect with viewers.”

Before her role at Fremantle Spain, Nathalie held the position of CEO at Plural Entertainment, Media Capital/Prisa’s production label, and served as Managing Director of the TV division at Vértice 360 Group. She also established the Spanish branch of Sony Pictures International Television, where she held the positions of SVP Distribution and Managing Director for a decade.

ITV Studios Iberia now stands alongside a host of leading non-scripted labels within ITV Studios’ extensive international production and distribution group, spanning 13 countries. The most recent addition to this roster is the non-scripted label Plimsoll Productions, which joined the business in the UK.
