British actress Claire Sweeney has been confirmed as the second celebrity participant in the upcoming series of Dancing on Ice.
Revealing the news exclusively on This Morning, Claire said: “I’m really looking forward to going to an ice rink with my son and actually being able to skate and not have to use the penguins they give you to help you stay upright!”
She added: “I’ve had to wear my boots around the house… I haven’t stepped on the ice yet.”
Claire follows in the footsteps of World Champion Boxer Ricky Hatton MBE, who was previously announced as part of the lineup.
Dancing on Ice, produced by Lifted Entertainment, is set to make its return to ITV and ITVX in 2024, boasting a fresh ensemble. Twelve celebrities are gearing up to face the ultimate challenge as they showcase their skating skills live each week, aiming to impress both the judging panel and viewers tuning in from home.
