Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a shop in the Eastmoor area of Wakefield are urging two customers present during the incident to step forward.
The robbery occurred at Today’s Foodmarket on Barden Road, Eastmoor, between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday, 10 September.
Robin Parkinson, 53, residing on Barden Road, Wakefield, has been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article in a public place. He is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear at Leeds Crown Court on 13 October.
Officers from Wakefield CID are appealing to the two customers who were in the store at the time of the incident to get in touch.
One observer is noted as wearing a dark green t-shirt with a design on the back and white sunglasses on their head, while the other is described as wearing a beige t-shirt with a brown vest on top. Both individuals seem to be in their early to mid-20s.
