Stacey Solomon, Iwan Carrington, and Rob Bent from “Sort Your Life Out” are joined by the popular ‘cleanfluencer’ Mrs Hinch in the second episode of the third series, while Dilly takes a break.
In an effort to revamp the cluttered Farrow family home, undertaking a life-altering declutter, budget-friendly makeover, and an extensive spring clean, they embark on a journey to reorganise and upcycle their way to a new living space within a seven-day challenge.
With the assistance of the team, Andy and Lianne, both born and bred in Essex, along with their three children – Rys (13), Connor (10), and Amber (6) – commence by carefully packing away all their belongings into boxes, completely emptying the family home and revealing the ample space hidden beneath the clutter. Their possessions are meticulously laid out in a vast warehouse, including 32 rolls of wallpaper, 81 satchels and handbags, and 241 balls of wool.
There are poignant moments as the family sift through their most cherished items, endeavouring to part with half of their possessions. Lianne, the mother, finds it difficult to witness the children letting go of their toys, while Andy grapples with his own sense of responsibility and guilt regarding their untidy house.
Carpenter Rob breathes fresh life into the home, employing ingenious carpentry skills to create a new crafting section for Lianne. Meanwhile, Iwan and Mrs Hinch embark on a comprehensive spring clean, sharing a multitude of helpful tips along the way.
Once the family is left only with the essential items, they are packed with care and returned to the farmhouse, which is then elegantly restocked by Stacey and her team in anticipation of the grand reveal to the family.
