West Yorkshire Police are making an appeal for witnesses after a motorcyclist endured potentially severe injuries following a collision in Gomersal last night (5/9).
The incident occurred on Oxford Road at 11:19 pm and involved a Suzuki SV 650S motorcycle travelling south towards Gomersal Cricket Club. The motorcycle brushed against the wing mirror of a Vauxhall Insignia before colliding with the rear of a Citroen C3.
The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, sustained serious injuries to his head and legs as a result of the collision and was subsequently transported to the hospital.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are urging individuals who may have witnessed the collision or possess video footage of the incident or the events leading up to it to get in touch with West Yorkshire Police.
