Organised by Leeds City Council, the complimentary event is scheduled for the 26th of September. It will bring together businesses and educational institutions from the region, all eager to present opportunities to individuals keen on delving deeper into a career within the digital sector.
Anticipating the participation of over 50 organisations, including this year’s sponsors – xDesign, Leeds City College, Cognizant, British Library, and BAE Systems – visitors will gain access to insights and career prospects within leading digital and technology companies.
Aside from connecting with major digital employers in the north, attendees will also have the chance to engage with various training providers, offering programmes like T-levels, apprenticeships, boot camps, and degree courses.
The event’s “Inspire Zone” will feature engaging talks from industry pioneers and provide an interactive space for attendees to participate throughout the day, granting them a deeper understanding of the extensive array of digital career pathways.
Regardless of age, academic background, or level of education, the Leeds Digital Careers Fair aims to motivate and educate all attendees about the diverse range of digital career opportunities within their reach.
Speaking ahead of the fair, Leeds City Council executive member for economy, culture and education, Councillor Jonathan Pryor, said: “As an innovative and forward-thinking city, the digital economy in Leeds is booming and full of opportunities.
“With a wide range of companies and training providers and insightful talks from industry leaders, this year’s Leeds Digital Careers Fair is set to build on the success of last year in showcasing the many opportunities available in this fast-growing sector.

The Leeds Digital Careers Fair is a component of Leeds City Council’s Future Talent Plan, which is designed to be shaped, created, and owned by the city itself, capable of adapting and thriving in the face of change.
