The police in Bradford are seeking witnesses following a robbery that took place on Sunbridge Road.
On Thursday, 27th July, at approximately 9am, officers were alerted to an incident just outside the post office where a woman had her purse snatched.
The perpetrator fled the scene and was pursued by two members of the public. They successfully apprehended the suspect and retrieved the stolen purse. However, these two individuals departed before the arrival of the police.
The authorities are eager to interview these two men as potential witnesses. The initial male witness is described as a Caucasian in his 30s, sporting a bald head and standing at approximately 5ft3 in height. The second male witness is described as of mixed race, with short black hair, aged between the mid to late 20s, and dressed in a blue tracksuit.
A 37-year-old man has been taken into custody in connection with the incident but has been released on bail pending further investigation.
