The BBC took the lead at the 2023 National Television Awards, securing 9 out of the 16 audience awards.
This count encompasses three accolades for EastEnders, including Best Serial Drama, Rising Star for actor Bobby Brazier, and Serial Drama Performance for Danielle Harold. Two awards were clinched by Happy Valley for Best Returning Drama and Drama Performance. Additionally, victories were celebrated for The Traitors, The Repair Shop, Strictly Come Dancing, and The Graham Norton Show. A special commendation was also bestowed upon Sarah Lancashire.
