West Yorkshire Police are making an earnest plea to individuals who might have witnessed an unfortunate incident involving two 15-year-old girls in Bradford.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 8th, on Netherlands Avenue.

The girls had been passengers on the 682 bus originating from Halifax. Upon disembarking at the junction of Netherlands Avenue and Halifax Road, between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM, both teenagers were subjected to an assault by an unidentified male.

Regrettably, one of the girls suffered a head injury and had to be taken to a hospital.

Fortunately, she has since been discharged from medical care. The assailant is described as a middle-aged male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, with a sturdy build.

In response to this distressing event, law enforcement is diligently reviewing CCTV footage. Additionally, a designated scene has been secured to facilitate forensic analysis.

The investigation is actively being conducted by Bradford CID, who are relentlessly pursuing leads. Authorities are reaching out to anyone who was present on the 682 bus or within the vicinity on the specified night.
