Bradford Cathedral is set to host an exciting Pop-up Café starting on Wednesday, 2nd August, and running for a month. The café will offer a diverse selection of hot and cold beverages, delectable cakes, and made-to-order dishes.
Operating five days a week, the café will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 11 am to 2 pm. Visitors can also look forward to occasional specials, including made-to-order sandwiches, paninis, and delightful cream teas.
Ali and Andy Bowerman, renowned co-founders of Vicars Café Bistro in Saltaire, are spearheading the café’s offerings. They are bringing back some favourites from their previous venture, such as their mouthwatering homemade soup and the widely acclaimed carrot cake.
Overseen by Ali Bowerman and a team of dedicated Cathedral volunteers, the Pop-up Café promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
For those attending on the opening day, Wednesday 2nd August, there’s a fantastic offer – a complimentary tea or coffee with every cake purchased.
Aligned with the Cathedral’s commitment to sustainability, the café will utilise locally-sourced produce and feature Fairtrade tea, coffee, and many other ethically-sourced ingredients in its range of offerings.
For a comprehensive menu, visitors can check out the Bradford Cathedral website. Additionally, further details, including the specials, will be unveiled through the Cathedral’s social media channels. So mark your calendars and don’t miss this delightful culinary experience at Bradford Cathedral’s Pop-up Café!
The Very Revd Andy Bowerman, Dean of Bradford, says; “It’s been an exciting few weeks planning the Pop-up Café and we’re delighted that the opening date is almost upon us.
