Road closures are currently in effect in Otley due to an incident that occurred earlier this morning.
At 7:49 am today, the ambulance service reached out to West Yorkshire Police regarding an incident in which a man had fallen from the West Chevin Road bridge over the A660 Rotary Way in Otley.
The man was subsequently transported to the hospital, as he sustained severe injuries.
Presently, the A660 bypass is inaccessible between Leeds Road and Bradford Road. Additionally, the West Chevin Road bridge has been shut off between Birdcage Walk and Burras Lane. Motorists are advised to steer clear of this area and explore alternative routes.
