West Yorkshire Police are making an appeal to potential witnesses following a tragic incident involving a fatality in a road traffic accident in Bradford.

At 9.57 AM today, law enforcement received notifications regarding a collision involving three vehicles on Highgate Road in Queensbury.

This incident transpired when a Honda Jazz and a Volkswagen Tiguan collided with a stationary vehicle. Tragically, the 79-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen was transported to a medical facility, where regrettably, his passing was confirmed.

Concurrently, the 80-year-old male driver of the Honda Jazz is presently hospitalised in critical condition.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver of the Volkswagen might have experienced a medical emergency while operating the vehicle.

The Roads Policing Unit is actively pursuing inquiries into the matter.
