Bradford (Park Avenue) is delighted to announce the acquisition of talented midfielder Zak Kersey on a one-year contract, extendable to a second year by mutual agreement.
Zak’s journey to the First Team began as a scholar with the BPA Academy, where he showcased his potential and dedication. His hard work and impressive performances earned him opportunities to play for the First Team on several occasions during the previous season, even though he was not under a formal contract.
As part of his development, Zak was also loaned out to Frickley Athletic, where he made a remarkable debut, earning the prestigious Man of the Match award. Such experiences have honed his skills and prepared him for a more significant role with Bradford (Park Avenue).
One of Zak’s memorable moments was in the West Riding County Cup match against Brighouse Town, where he showcased his goal-scoring ability with a brilliant strike, setting the tone for the team’s victory.
With Zak officially joining the First Team now, the club looks forward to witnessing his growth and contribution on the field during the upcoming season.
On the signing, Danny Boshell said; “We’re really pleased Zak has signed. He’s a great kid with a fantastic attitude and a willingness to learn.”
