Bradford (Park Avenue) made an official announcement regarding the departure of Scholarship Lead Coach, Patrick McGuire, from the club. The organisation expressed gratitude for Pat’s remarkable contributions to both the Juniors and Scholars teams, leading them to an impressive 3rd place finish in the previous season.

Throughout his tenure, Pat diligently coached players ranging from the U8s to U19s age groups. Additionally, he played a vital role in overseeing the successful transition of numerous Academy players into the first team, with 14 of them getting the opportunity to represent the club in the County Cup match against Brighouse Town last season, a game in which Pat actively managed from the sidelines.

Moreover, Pat was instrumental in establishing connections with local non-league clubs, which created valuable opportunities for players to gain invaluable experience in first-team football. The club acknowledges and appreciates the significant impact Pat had during his time at Bradford (Park Avenue) and wishes him all the best in his future endeavours.

Pat said; “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at The Horsfall, and it has been a privilege to coach in such a fantastic football environment, from the staff to the players and the 1st class facilities. I look forward to seeing the programme go from strength to strength and wish all involved at BPA all the best for the future.”
