West Yorkshire Police, in their search for Darren Jones from Castleford who had gone missing, have discovered the remains of a man.
The authorities received a call to attend a residence on Savile Road in Castleford around 4.42pm on the previous day, Thursday 17 August. The man’s body was found in a garage on the premises.
Although the formal identification process is still pending confirmation, it is strongly presumed to be that of Darren Jones. The news of this discovery has been communicated to Darren’s family. Importantly, the authorities are not treating the death as suspicious.
Preparations are underway to compile a case for the coroner’s examination.
