Guess who’s returned? The Emmy Award-winning animated comedy series “Rick and Morty” from Adult Swim is set to make its triumphant comeback on E4 this October.
Rick and Morty have reappeared, and they’re sounding truer to themselves than ever before. With the seventh season underway, the opportunities are boundless: What’s Jerry been up to? An evil version of Summer?! And could they ever revisit the high school? That might be a stretch! Nonetheless, let’s uncover the truth!
Yet, what manner of escapades will they find themselves in as they journey through the galaxy? What distinctive new creatures will cross their path? And are they destined for serious jeopardy (It’s a given!)
Karl Warner, Head of Youth and Digital at Channel 4 said: “We can’t wait to be taken on another laugh-out-loud ride across the universe with Rick and Morty and the rest of the Smith family. We’re playing the new series as close to its US broadcast as possible, knowing that young UK audiences will flock to our digital platforms to catch up or stream the chaos.”
“It’s happening,” confirmed Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim. “Thanks to the talent of the entire show team, we can all enjoy 10 new episodes that yet again raise the bar for comedy and animation. This season proves that the geniuses at work on ‘Rick and Morty’ are just getting started.”
