Detectives are making an appeal for individuals who might have witnessed an incident of assault in Bradford.

The police received a call from the ambulance service regarding an assault on a man at approximately 16:05 today (30th August) on Sunbridge Road, Bradford.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a man who was receiving treatment for injuries to his head. It is believed that he was attacked in the street by another man, who subsequently fled in a black car.

The injured individual was transported to the hospital, where he is currently reported to be in a serious condition.
