Renowned documentary filmmaker and MBE recipient, Stacey Dooley, along with UKTV’s popular free-to-air channel W, is set to return with an exciting second series of “Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA” (3×60′). Produced by Firecracker Films, the award-winning show will commence filming later this year and is scheduled to air on W and UKTV Play in 2024.
The first series of “Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA” introduced viewers to intriguing and unconventional family lifestyles across the United States. Stacey stayed with various families, including Autumn, a 9-year-old GunTuber residing with her parents in Oklahoma; Mya and Kennedy, a transgender couple navigating parenthood in Virginia; and Cheryl and Quran, a couple with a significant 37-year age gap from Georgia. All three captivating episodes from the previous series are available on UKTV Play.
In this brand-new instalment, the series will delve deeper into themes of modern relationships and family dynamics, exploring diverse perspectives on love, partnerships, marriage, parenting, and finances. Specific details about the families and locations Stacey will be visiting will be unveiled in the forthcoming months.
The decision to commission “Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA” was made by Emile Nawagamuwa, the commissioning executive, while Adam Collings, the channel director, and Hilary Rosen, the director of commissioning, were responsible for ordering the show for W. The creative team at Firecracker, led by Chief Creative Officer Jes Wilkins and Series Director Alice Bowden, will ensure the series continues to captivate audiences. Passion Distribution will handle the series distribution.

Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA will return to W and UKTV Play in 2024. The one-off special, Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over: Family and Me will air on W and UKTV Play this summer.
