Leeds Rhinos half back Blake Austin will be absent from this Sunday’s game against the Salford Red Devils due to a Grade C charge he received from the Match Review Panel.
The charge was issued for Dangerous Contact during last Thursday’s victory over Warrington. Despite being named the man of the match in that game, Austin will have to sit out this week’s match.
On the other hand, Tom Holroyd, who also received a Grade B charge for the same offence, managed to avoid a suspension and instead will pay a £250 fine.
In a separate incident, Cameron Smith has been issued a warning for making contact with a match official.
