Police in Shipley are appealing for witnesses following a collision last night (Monday, 10th July) that resulted in a cyclist sustaining serious injuries.

At 6.49pm, officers responded to a call reporting an incident on Caroline Street, close to the junction with Exhibition Road. It was reported that a cyclist had been injured after colliding with the door of a white Dacia Duster car.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, was swiftly transported to the hospital in a critical condition.

The police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
