Andy Last has selected a 21-man squad from Castleford for the Fords’ upcoming match against Hull FC on Saturday!

The match is scheduled to begin at 3 pm at The MKM Stadium and it will be the third time the two teams have faced each other in the league and cup competitions in 2023.

The Black and Whites emerged victorious in their previous encounter against the Fords in the Challenge Cup at Wheldon Road in May. Cas’ last visit to west Hull was an exhilarating Super League opener, which ended in a 32-30 victory for the hosts, despite a spirited fightback from the Tigers.

FC enters the game following a Hull derby win at Craven Park, with Adam Swift scoring twice to secure a 16-6 victory for the Airlie Birds.

There is only one change from Cas’ previous squad, which was selected for their home clash against Leigh. Jordan Turner will not be available due to a thumb injury he sustained last Friday night, and Mahe Fonua will be replacing him in the centre.

Saturday could also mark another significant achievement for Liam Watts, as he is set to make his 350th career appearance.
