Police are appealing for any individuals who were passengers on the number 641 bus on Little Horton Lane yesterday (12th July) at approximately 2.20pm to come forward.
This appeal comes after an 83-year-old man boarded the bus and subsequently fell over as the bus departed, near the junction of Horton Park Avenue.
The 83-year-old gentleman was rendered unconscious due to the incident and was promptly transported to the hospital, where he presently remains under observation.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are eager to speak with all individuals who were present on the bus during that time. They are particularly interested in speaking with the individual who alerted the bus driver and provided initial medical assistance to the elderly gentleman.
