Tigers Head Coach Andy Last has announced his 21-man squad for the upcoming clash against Warrington Wolves, scheduled for Friday night at their home ground, The Mend-A-Hose Jungle.

Following a two-week break without a fixture, the Fords are eager to dive back into action, ready to take on their opponents under the vibrant floodlights. Warrington had emerged victorious in their previous visit to Wheldon Road earlier this season. However, Daryl Powell’s men enter the game after suffering an exit from the Challenge Cup against Wigan last weekend.

Last has made four changes to the 21-man squad that was selected ahead of the Salford game. Bureta Faraimo and youngster George Hill are set to join the lineup, alongside the return of Alex Mellor, who has successfully completed the necessary return-to-play protocols. Additionally, prop Liam Watts, who missed out on the Red Devils fixture due to a suspension, is back in contention for a place in the team.

Unfortunately, there are a few notable absences due to injuries. George Lawler and captain Paul McShane will be sidelined for the forthcoming match. Furthermore, Suaia Matagi remains in New Zealand due to a recent family bereavement, and the team extends their condolences to Matagi and his family. Mahe Fonua is also absent from the lineup since the last outing.

The confirmed squad for the match against Warrington Wolves is as follows:

3. Jordan Turner, 5. Bureta Faraimo, 6. Gareth Widdop, 7. Jacob Miller, 10. George Griffin, 11. Kenny Edwards, 12. Alex Mellor, 13. Joe Westerman, 14. Nathan Massey, 15. Alex Sutcliffe, 17. Jack Broadbent, 20. Muizz Mustapha, 24. Cain Robb, 25. Brad Martin, 28. Sam Hall, 30. Jacob Hookem, 31. Jason Qareqare, 32. Liam Watts, 33. Aaron Willis, 34. George Hill, and 39. Will Tate.

With the squad finalised, Tigers fans eagerly anticipate the team’s performance as they aim to reclaim victory against Warrington Wolves on their home turf.
