Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision that occurred in Batley on Sunday, 18 June. The incident took place at approximately 6:57 p.m. outside Sizzlers Takeaway, located on Bradford Road, when a white Vauxhall Corsa heading towards Dewsbury collided with a male pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his thirties, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he received medical treatment. Thankfully, his injuries were not severe, and he was subsequently discharged.
Officers at the scene engaged with the driver of the Corsa, who halted after the collision. The police are currently conducting inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
